Before I start the program a quick-make-sure: when there’s no rope weight mentioned in the follow along videos (like the freestyle jumping), does it mean that the set should be executed with speed rope (weight less than 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb or 1 lb)?

I was just browsing all of the workouts and I've noticed that there is absolutely no focus on the abs. When I think of a shredded Ninja, I think shredded abs, yet this only works on arms and legs. That disappoints me a little. Why ignore the abs?

Ok, I just finished Shredded Ninja. I'm going to go through the pros and cons of this workout program. I'm normally very honest when I review something. I don't hold back and I say exactly how I feel. With that said, here's my review of the Shredded Ninja workout program.

Pros: Helps you lose weight, the music was catchy.

Cons: Not a fan of not having the dudes talk me through the workouts, it was pretty boring, very little focus on abs, didn't have a pull-up bar, so I did dumbell Flys instead.

I'll elaborate on the pros first. This workout program definitely helped me lose weight, even if I didn't have much to lose. I had been jumping rope for about four months before I starter this program, so I had lost some weight doing my own thing (about five pounds). This program got me down t9 the lowest I've ever been in my life. 107 pounds (before you freak out, keep in mind that I'm a petite women of only 5'2", so 107 is a very healthy weight for my height). The music was good for an exercise program. Not exactly my personal preference or style, but it could have been worse, so I was happy with it.

Cons: I really disliked the way this workout was laid out. When I first started it, I was fully expecting to be jumping along with one of the dudes, but I found myself following along with pre-recorded demonstrations of the exercises. I was so bored with it that I wished I had chosen a different program. I would have quit but that's not my style. I ALWAYS finish what I've started, so instead of quitting, I decided to double down. I did two workouts a day for the second half of the program. Am I crazy? Maybe just a little. It definitely challenged me. I didn't like how this program didn't focus on abs very much. The last month or so of workouts started to, but it wasn't much. I also didn't have a pull-up bar, so I decided to do dumbell flys instead. That didn't bother me. I probably would have become very frustrated doing pull-ups.

RESULTS: I'm a little confused as to why they decided to call this program Shredded Ninja. When I think of the work Shredded in fitness context, I think of lean muscles. However, this program was focused on weight loss, not muscle building. I thought that by the end of this program, I would have built a fair amount of lean muscle. That was not the case. But, as this program is actually geared more toward weight loss, I can't be totally upset with the results, as that's exactly what happened. When I started this program, I was 113 pounds. Now I'm 107 pounds. I probably would have lost a little more, but I wasn't exactly following the suggested diet to a T. I did gain a little bit of muscle in my arms, which is probably the best part of my results feom this program. My family tends to have a naturally strong lower body, but our upper bodies have always been very weak. When my husband noticed my arm muscles, he was pretty impressed. Granted, they're not huge, but it's the most noticeable change as a result of this workout program.

Conclusion: Overall, I can't say I really liked this program very much. That's not to say I wouldn't suggest it to others. That all depends on what they want from a workout program. It wasn't bad, I just didn't prefer it.

So I take it that the workout vids are now replacing the pfds? I have to say, the pdfs were really convenient...

Where can I access the PDF for this workout and list of modifications?
