I agree. Go slow. The worst thing you can do right now is go too hard and get injured. Six weeks off to heal will not help your fitness. You will do better with a 2 year view, not a couple of months.

My condolences on your loss. It is hard losing your mom. As all my parent’s peers die, we are becoming the elders. It is a responsibility that makes me pause every day. I know you will do your mom proud. Blessings and prayers for your family.

Shredded Ninja was the first full program I completed. It was hard. But so worth doing. JRD 90 is also great. And so far, JRD Max is living up to its name.

I just finished my first week of the program. I like the follow along format. The flexibility of the workouts is a strength. I know as I repeat each week, I will increase the intensity. One suggestion is to recommend writing down how many of the exercise you do so we can see the progress. But most of us know to do that anyway.

This increases time under tension.

It seems to work the hip flexors more. And since there is less time with little tension on the muscle, the work load is higher, so I expect more gains with the same time.
