Started with the Dumbell challenge in January and still going strong. 36 minutes with the 1/2 lb rope today! Loving it!

1. I joined to lose around 10 pounds while maintaining strength.

2. I really came to love jumping rope which is big for me. I enjoy strength training but have always hated cardio. I now look forward to jumping rope and often find myself jumping for longer than the videos suggest. I lost the 10 pounds plus a few more but finding an exercise I enjoy will help me keep the weight off and improve my health more and more.

4000 jumps in 37 min. At that exact moment my playlist had the Pointer Sisters singing, "If you want more, more, more...then JUMP!" So I did another 10 min for another 1000 jumps. Halfway through this journey and I'm feeling so much stronger.

I'm a 45 year old from Houston, Texas. During COVID I got into the best shape of my life. Then, I really stopped exercising a couple of years ago after an intense season of caring for aging parents. Was starting to feel it in my energy level and see it on the scale. Ready to get back into good habits that lead to a better quality of life.
