Haven’t jumped roped since last Friday. Been idk not motivated. Monday went to the gym to jump but ended up going for a run and Tuesday the same but ended up going for a walk (7-8) steps. But today! I switched it up! Did Oct D2 Upper body blasted some music and went at it.

Personally for me, 3 sets is a nice sweet spot! I prefer completing 30 mins of 3 sets rather than 30 mins of 4-5 sets.

Also, im thinking of doing a 3-5 min pre jump before actually jumping just because I feel like when I jump rope the first set of the workout is me trying to find my flow and tripping over the rope trying to gain speed. Whilst on my 2nd and 3rd set it was a lot smoother flow + speed control, so hoping a 3-5 min pre jump can get he warmed up to find my flow and hit set 1 hard.

I am looking at getting new shoes preferably the Nike Pegasus 39’s. Anyone got any experience with the Pegasus for jumping rope?
