Welcome Desiree and massive congratulations and respect for your transformation so far.

As to traveling, I've never brought a mat. Depending on where you're staying, I've simply jumped in the hotel fitness rooms which are padded.

The ropes can typically take a short-terms worth of beating in smooth side walks and concrete.

I'm on the swole and not DB program. That said, mod away. So long as you're hitting the same muscle group/rep range, you're good to go. People in the KB world would argue those movements are better than iso ones anyway.

In the winter here in MN, I'm inside using resistance bands and bodyweight exercises as I got through the Swole Samurai.
