And then - JRD Dudes and Dudettes - there was NONE.

Here's a hat tip to everyone who's finished Power Calisthenics, who will finish this weekend, and anyone hereafter.

From the land of Minnesota Nice, proud of you.

Thank you all who've posted before me to keep me motivated and check off the workout of the day, and everyone for their comments and silly gifs.

Thank you to Dan and JRD Dudette for another great challenge and set of workouts.

Congrats too as well to all the Crossrope giveaway winners.

Jump those new ropes with all the JRD swagger you've got.

Whatever you're up to next, keep doin the thing.

Rooting for you,

Kevin

WK4, D2 - EASILY the hardest WOD of the bunch for me.

Respectfully Diane, I've got both sweat AND words 😜

Most of them have 4 letters and speak flagrantly against the agonizing abomination that is Double Unders.

Wouldn't take many guesses on a Wordle to figure them out...

And on 1st day of the 4th week of Power Calisthenics, Dan saith this to the JRD community:

"Let there be sweat!"

And all the Dudes and Dudettes of Power Calisthenics sweat.

So the perspiration was good, plentiful and bountiful to all who've come thus far.

Nothing silly today.

Just a silly selfie celebrating W3, D2.

20 seconds feels like nothing after a week or mostly 30 second intervals.

W3, D1? Done and done-r.

Confession? Absolutely 👇

Hi, my name's Kevin, and I am a modifier.

Yes, I admit it. For skill, novelty, or the hell of its sake, I modify workouts.

Take today.

Lots of new types of jumps I've never done or seen.

Round #1 I give it a go, realizing to execute the new movements I need to slow down, which means I dont get the same workout intensity.

So what do I do?

Modify baby, modify.

My workout today looked like this:

  • Banded pushups
  • Boxer skip variation
  • Banded side plank Left
  • Boxer skip variation
  • Banded squat to one-arm row
  • Boxer skip variation
  • Banded side plank Right

Same intervals, same idea, and (hopefully) same results.

I'm Kevin and my confession is I modify: sometimes for my lack of skill, sometimes to mix up exercises, and sometimes to make it even harder.

Any other confessions? Modifiers out there?

"That was a secret!"

"Well, now it's a beer "
