Resolved: Hey Joe and others! The neck pain I had was one of my rips that had snapped out a little from its placement. A physio “sat” on me :-) and put it back in. Common problem for Jr-beginners . Can be solved by keeping chin not to far away from ribcage and not looking up too much whist skipping.

thanks douglas. i reckon its to do with me being new to the jr game. i’ll show my current jumping skills to a experienced jumper to see if my footwork is proper. also i’ll talk to my doc. i have a feeling tho that it’ll change after a few weeks… thanks for your advice!!!

I started jumping rope daily about three weeks ago. First exercise I am calling “my own thing” in 15 years and very happy about it. Would not say that i’m starting to get in shape off from 0 but i am experiencing neck and upper back pain after getting up in the morning. does anybody have experience around that? would be happy to hear!!

i’m stretching after every exercise!

love from switzerland!
