Anybody have a recommendation for a simple digital wrist watch that times intervals (30 sec sets, 10 sec. rest like the JRD workouts)? I’m not looking for a smartwatch. Somthing that has a countdown to start & end like the workouts on this app would be great (not sure if such a thing exists). Thanks!

Hey people!

First post & excited to be a part of the community here.

I started jump roping in the early days of the pandemic & gave my self a bad case of shin splints in summer 2020. They are still a problem but I recently got back to jump rope finally which has been amazing.

I was wondering if anyone has some insight on this - I just got the Crossrope mat & would like to be able to do the thing anywhere. My shin splints are still a problem but I’ve worked my way up to be able to do fairly intense 30 min jump rope workouts in the past couple of months. I’m a bit hesitant to jump rope with the mat, on concrete because I’m not sure if it will be too hard for my shins. I usually use a rubber floor at my gym but it would be nice to be able to jump at home on days when I’m short on time.

So the question is, jumping on concrete with the Crossrope mat - too risky if you have a bad case of shin splints? Any thoughts or insights? Thanks everyone.
