I have a knee injury that just won’t go away. I’ve had to stop running, going up and down stairs is painful. When I do strength training exercises on my right glute, I feel a little bit of relief from the pain. I’ve seen several physiotherapists, but nothing is helping. I joined on here because I want to jump rope so badly. So I got myself the Crossrope ropeless ropes and I’ve started jumping on my rebounder. I don’t feel pain when I do this. I would love to be able to jump rope with my regular ropes, but just the thought of that hurts my knee. Any advice? I will go back to a physiotherapist to see what can be done, but just thought I would ask the jumpers who may have had any injuries in the past for advice.

Day 2 done!

Hello! I am very new to jumping and to this community. I am from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada via Chile. I got the ropeless set from Crossrope because I have an existing knee issue that even when I jump just a little gets exacerbated. (I do own the regular lean set, but whenever I attempt to use it following proper form etc., my knee pain returns.) Using the ropeless ropes on my rebounder doesn’t hurt at all, so that’s where I’m starting from. My goal is to lose 30lbs of fat and to jump regularly. I am currently starting a bodyweight program, so my goal is to do both that and jumping as my workouts. I workout 6 days a week. What JRD program, other than beginner, would be best for someone who has no experience jumping? Which one comes after the beginner program? Thank you for welcoming me, I just started following you guys on YouTube and you are both so inspiring!
