Day one JRD Max (also watched the intro video 😋 & sorted myself out). Really enjoyed the 15 min skip. As far as the push-ups and pull ups, here’s my report:

Managed sets of 10-15 throughout, making 60 by the end of the time. Imagine I’ll make it to 100 after a couple weeks or month of building back up.

Pull ups: since I’m at the gym I took advantage of the assisted pull up machine. I set it at 14kg (30lbs) and followed Dan for sets of 4. Making 40 + an one extra for good measure.
Grateful I booked a massage for later today!

See you all tomorrow- get after it!!

Hey all! Last day in Paris, and while it was wonderful, I look forward to getting home & back to taking GOOD care of myself (vacations are also taking care but in a different way). Anyhoo, I am going to get some skips in before my train home, and am thinking about starting a challenge Or program this week. Wanted to ask your suggestions.

I haven’t lifted weights in two months. I went from being able to do sets of 25 pushups to about 12-15. I used to be able to do 5 unassisted pull-ups and now can manage a couple with a neutral grip.
I don’t know what my goals are other than to feel my best, comfortable in my body, and absolute fire when I put on a dress (meaning that slaying confidence that can only come from within). Jumping definitely does something magical to my brain, so I’m ready to amp it up.

Would love to hear from the community which programs you’ve done or are actively doing, what your goals are, and how you are feeling!

Thank you so much! Sending heaps of love ❤️

Did the thing! Todays my birthday & I am feeling my 45 years of awesomeness! I always sport on my birthday as a confirmation of health and life — I am so so grateful. But this year was made especially fun by jumping in my favorite city. I mean why is jumping so fun?! I love it!!!! Super sweaty workout with the 1/4lb. Now time to hunt down some cake! ❤️❤️❤️🥂

Did the thing! Little 30 min cardio burn 🔥. Am in Paris celebrating my birthday (tomorrow), so although I was a bit delicate this morning, I surprisingly killed this workout. ❤️

Just completed one of the Pure Jump Ladder workouts - absolute fire. I think when I get back from my next trip, I’m going to start one of the programs/challenges! For now, I will keep skipping and sharing! Hope you’re all out there smashing your goals, believing in magic, and being kind to yourselves. Lots of love from Amsterdam ❤️

Hi all! My name is Jocelyn and I’m new to the community - but not new to the jump rope dudes! I found their videos during the pandemic and jumped for a while until I shifted gears into body building. Well after a long period of building muscle, following a six week trip to Mexico, I am off the body building and back to jumping—and even trying weighted ropes! I super love it and while I’m not entirely sure where my fitness journey is headed, I am enjoying the brain boost from jumping, the mobility I’m getting from yoga, and just taking walks. Seems our bodies just built to move so I’m doing what I can to move it. Happy to be here and be a part of the community!

As far as jumping, I am alternating between the 1/4 lb and the 1/2 lb rope for now. I lean towards the 30 min workouts but there’s some 10/15 min seshes that I find really fun. I’ve got some footwork down but really eager to learn more.

How many days are you all jumping? I want to jump more than I am - which is about 3-4 days now. But I notice my feet and calves really need a rest.

Okay that’s a lot for my first post! Get it!
