today i was not feeling it. m1d4 of Max... cardio gauntlet. it wasnt the workout i didnt wanna do... i just didnt want to work out. been in a funk and you know how that goes. my head wasnt in it, and my brain was like, "screw it dude. whats the point."

but i told myself, "the workout isnt going to go away. itll still be there tomorrow." and if i skip a day and have to make it up, it wrecks my 6 days a week thing, and goofs up my routine.

i use preworkout. once i drink it i dont want to waste it because its idiotically expensive. its a little trick i play on myself.

so i got started... grumpy AF.

half way through, i just wanted to quit. it wasnt from fatigue, it was my mind. i just wasnt in the mood. but i looked at dan, looked at the timer... 10 minutes left. ok, half way done. i can make 10 more minutes.

5 minutes left. i f_***_ing got this... still grumpy AF.

finished. happy i did it. i dont feel better about anything other than i did the thing when i totally didnt want to do it.

"tomorrow me" will thank "today me."

my point in sharing this is for anyone not feeling it. if you can get through just 1 workout when you dont feel like it, you can get through 2. and 3. and more.

work on doing sh*t even when you dont want to.
