No weight/lbs goal here. Goals are OMAD (one meal a day) 5-6 days per week and JRD 5x/WK on weekdays.

On Total Body Torch week #1 and then picking one of the 90-day programs for the summer when I'll have more time with school out and more time off.

Normal.

Very normal.

New or not.

As long as you're more sore vs hurt you should be good.

And then - JRD Dudes and Dudettes - there was NONE.

Here's a hat tip to everyone who's finished Power Calisthenics, who will finish this weekend, and anyone hereafter.

From the land of Minnesota Nice, proud of you.

Thank you all who've posted before me to keep me motivated and check off the workout of the day, and everyone for their comments and silly gifs.

Thank you to Dan and JRD Dudette for another great challenge and set of workouts.

Congrats too as well to all the Crossrope giveaway winners.

Jump those new ropes with all the JRD swagger you've got.

Whatever you're up to next, keep doin the thing.

Rooting for you,

Kevin

A JRD program you're going to modify with a kettlebell? Which martial art do you do?

Love it! One day, one program at a time. Do the thing

That was a fun one and definitely worked through sheer practice wherever you're at.

To go first and answer my own question, I don't know yet.

Did JRD for awhile and remember a number of compliments I got from strangers about how good I looked, particularly my face and how lean I was.

Won't forget how hard those first weighted WODs were from then Brandon and Dan. Brutal.

Flipped over to GORUCK Tribe for variety/challenge in late 2023 or so. Got hurt on vacation in August (crushed my shin rock jumping with my boys) which messed up my shin, knee, and quad.

Limping bad.

Been jumping for the last two months daily workouts to Power Calisthenics.

At 34 and winter coming in MN, I don't know what I want short- or long-term for fitness/movement.

My spouse doesn't mind how a look (good/bad/average) and my kids are 11, 9, 7. Two dogs (boxer-pitbull and chocolate lab-pitbull) that I ruck 5-7 days/week for 1-8 miles which won't change.

No disrespect and no body shaming implied, a "dad bod" or "just chilling out about fitness" are decidedly NOT on the table for me.

I was embarrassingly chubby as a kid until 16 (similar story to Dan) before I found the weight room post-shingles.

Never going back.

Family history of joint pain and autoimmune struggles.

Long post, short answer:

I'm thinking about what's next.
