Wow, that was tough! First time I ever did a full 2 min of jumping with no stops of any kind. Woo woo! 😅

I used to dread these ladders but I’ve come a long way with endurance and performance. I’m able now to pretty much stick to 2 - 2.5 jumps/sec throughout the whole time. Just Doing the Thing!

Back from vacations now so no excuse for me not to do the thing! I surprised myself thought that over 5 weeks of vacation I did the thing at least 75% of the time! Have a great day all!

I love these kind of WODs! They are fun to do. And I have a new breakthrough …….I’ve finally learned how to do the boxer step! All these sets of feee style jumping has given me the opportunity to practice steps that I have not been comfortable with so that now, after 2 ½ years, I can competently do the boxer step. It is even becoming my go to for free style! Let’s all keep doing the thing!

….but I really like these HIITs. I get a minimum of 2100 jumps and am ready to go with something else right away. To mix it up a bit, I alternated between my 8 oz and 9 oz ropes. Not much of a difference but every little bit helps. Keep doing the thing!

Couldn’t do all the push-ups today, but I did what I could. Still a great WOD. Keep doing the thing!

First time today I did this particular WOD Rx the whole way through! Thought I would need to sub out with the 3/4 and 1 ½ lb set but didn’t need to. I pushed through it and really burned the calories in the 3rd set and had my heart up to 165 bpm. Not bad for an old fart! 😅
