Wow, what a different workout! First time for me as well to do a jumping ladder. I got in 3318 jumps, which is also a PR for number of jumps in one session. Have a great day everyone.

Hey all my JRD friends! I’ve missed the community more than I thought I would so I’m really happy to be back. My toe has healed (I’m sure it was cracked) and after a week of easing back into things I’m back at it full steam ahead! Hope to see many of you on the call this afternoon!

This is the first weekday in 2 months that I am not doing the JRD WOD. 😢 My toe is too sore to jump and even has me limping a bit. 😂 But I am making it an active rest day with yoga/stretching and meditation. Hopefully I can make up for lost days on the weekend. As always, have a great day, I intend to!

Things keep getting better, including my boxer step. Practice and not giving up really does work! But I do not recommend whipping toes with a ½ lb rope at full speed! My wife heard me screaming from upstairs. 😂. I was practicing DUs with the ½ lb and hit my toe and then jus continued to hit it until I finally called it quits. It’s starting to bruise now. 😂😅. Have a great one all!

What an awesome and sweaty start to the week, back here in my basement gym! I had a DU timing break through this morning and can now string together 8 DUs with 1 bounce in between! Enough to motivate me to keep at it! Also seeing massive improvement with my run in place jumping. Have a great day!

Another great day in my outdoor gym. It’s amazing how much I can sweat out here in the heat and humidity, but I’m not complaining! It helps though to have a nice cool lake to get into after the workout! Still making progress with the DUs so I’m happy. Have a great day!

My gym has no ceilings! I think that’s a great philosophy for us all. I just keep on going.
started with a 26 km ride today around the lake (39 m change in elevation) followed by theWOD. Way to sneak those extra push-ups and pistols in there! Haha! Now for my swim!

Like Doug, I moved my gym to the great outdoors, but no where near Manhattan! I have no PU bar here so had to modify the WOD when it came to the PU and CU. As you can see by the pictures, some DUs are great, others not so great! I clearly still have lots of room to improve, but I’m loving it!
Started the day with a good solid hour of paddling/kayaking on the lake, followed by todays WOD, followed by a fairly easy 20 km cycle, and finally, a well deserved dip in the lake. It was glorious!

Great start to the week! I’m off to the lake now for the rest of the week so I will have the beautiful 18 C water to cool off in after all my DUs/😂😅. TTYT

WOD 2-4 is done. Today I did DUs instead of penguin claps. Was not pretty but I did manage to get 5 DUs each segment. Like Doug says, baby steps.
I was a bit confused today though ….. Dan’s words did not match the video or text at times? Which Dan takes priority?🤣
