Shelly Bynum- strengthen your calves and roll out your quads, calves and hips with rollers/lax balls. You gotta find the length in them (it took me far too long to figure/fix mine... i pushed through. it was miserable. There were weeks where I couldn't skip (or walk). Don't let shin splints take you out get on youtube and search, there are solutions).

You gotta work those tibialas muscles in you shin... Shin splints can take you out. Work on them and jumping rope will be much more fun!

Whatchu scared of?!? As long as you don't quit, you won't lose.Just get consistent and ease in. If you need to start doing 1/4 or half workouts, start with 1/4 or half workouts. Keep it simple. Count your victories and leave fear behind you :)

shelly- What an awesome share! We all need a little push sometimes but don't mistake that a militant approach to fitness :) A day off (or two) is great as long as you are staying consistent.I'm so happy you have pictures to track your progress because that paints a much better picture than the scale alone.this post makes me so happy! I'm glad you are here and doing the thing!
