Fave rope? Probably the half pounder, but the quarter pounder has my heart too! I also love coffee, knitting, crocheting, and quilting!

Dan tricked us making this workout look easy written out on screen! 😅 Love me some pure jump workouts though. DO THE THING!

Monday was a total write off, which felt like a bummer since it was supposed to be my very first day into MAX, but taking that in stride, I decided this week to workout Tuesday through Saturday. So, here’s to M1-W1-D1 complete! The thing is done! ✅

As an “old JRD member” 😄 as quoted by Dan in M1D1 of JRD MAX, I love the studio workouts! JRD90 is a gem for sure, and let’s just say all that background noise gave it a more organic feel. 😉

Benchmarks for MAX plus a little freestyle jumping made for an excellent workout. Ready to start day 1 on Monday! 😅

I think I’ll be hanging out here a while, so I thought I should introduce myself! My name is Kari - pronounced the Scandinavian way, if anyone is familiar with that - and I’m from Saskatchewan, Canada. I first started seriously jumping a little before the dudes released the JRD90 program. I flew through that one with amazing support from the JRD community, back when it was just a Facebook group. I was in the best shape I had ever been after that, and then got pregnant. After my daughter was born, I struggled with the challenges of being a new mom, and grew frustrated that my body couldn’t do what it used to do everyday. I tried on and off over the past couple of years to get back into jumping full time, but my knees just wouldn’t let me. I ended up gaining more weight than I was okay with, which in turn just put more stress on my knees. It’s been an uphill battle, but I’m here! And I’m ready to take charge of my health and well being. My main goal is to lose weight and gain endurance, and I’m looking to this community for support! I’ve started off nice and slow, with shorter JRD workouts every other day, and I’m happy to announce that my knees are happy!
