JRDB workout, M3D4. Embarrassingly I fell short on completing the workout. I gave up just before the last 10 one minute sessions. My 69 y/o body succumbed to the 83° heat here in NYC. Don't fret, I am going to start again soon, I am determined to finish the whole program- Steve.

Just finished JRDB program M3D3. Two more days to go. I'm in no rush but will get it done.

Just got my Jan/Feb 2023 of AARP and the main story is about Heart Disease. In the article it talks about: "A great sport for your heart?". Those listed are: tennis and badminton cutting fatal CVD by 59%, followed by swimming and aerobics, 41% and 36% respectively, Distance running less effective. The article doesn't mention frequency of exercise or duration and whether or not it was coupled with other forms of exercises. I wonder what effects jump roping has on lowering risk. Maybe Dan or Brandon can chime in if they're aware of any studies.

Just finished Swole Samurai W2D3. It's been a week since I did W2D2 and boy did I feel it. Too much Christmas cheer! Swole Samurai W2D3 involved using the 1/2 lb. and 1lb. jump ropes (I treated myself to the 2023 Get Strong set). Let me say this, using the 1lb. rope along with the 1/2lb. was challenging. Can't imagine what the 2lb. will feel like. One step (jump) at a time. As they say: "slow and steady wins the race". Keep it up everyone for 2023.

Dudes, since you're the defacto ambassadors for Crossrope, are there any plans on reviewing the new ropeless crossrope? Dan, I know you did a review in the past on ropeless jump ropes. (Is Jumping WITHOUT A Rope Still Effective?) Just curious to know what you think of the new ropeless crossrope.
