Workout 5 days a week
I`m consistently doing 3days (jumping, weights, running etc). Now want to go 5.
To do my first DU.

Maybe it's there and I just haven't found it (I'm not very good with apps). But I would like to see all the tutorials grouped together on the app to make them easier to find. Just a thought.

I really love this community. You guys are out there crushing it everyday. You aren't afraid to let us know when you succeed or when you stumble. It helps to know there are others out there just like me. Like Lindsay said without your encouragement I might not have kept going.
My husband and I were at a crossroads trying to decide what to do to stay in shape. We decided to give JRDtv a try and that was the last push we needed to finally fully jump into jumping🙂. There is nothing else out there like it.
There is nothing else outhere like Jump Rope Dudes.
Thanks Dan for all you do for us.

My last post came out sounding more negative than I meant it to. I'm not quitting working out. And my jumping is getting better.
Thank you to Douglas and Lindsay and the marketing dude for your encouragement.
No Dan you weren't too hard. Thanks for caring.

Just letting you know where I'm at (if you care to knowl). I quit the ninja program. I was becoming discouraged and no longer enjoying it. Since I only jump MWF it was taking twice as long to complete. I know, it's not about how long it takes. But when I've been doing it 6 weeks and am only on week 3 I feel like I'm never gonna finish. Especially when watching you all complete Max in 3 months. So what I'm doing now is a WOD that I pick from the youtube list and on my off days I'm doing some weight training. Its working for me I think.
I had goals when I was getting fit. I met those and now I don't know what kind of goals to set as I try to stay fit? Does that make sense? What goals do you guys set? What keeps you going? What do you do once you've met your goals?

What are some things you all do to get back or maintain your momentum when life happens?

Is there a trick or technique to using the heavy ropes and handles? I have small hands and wrists. When I use the heavy ropes I can't swing them with my wrists I have to use my arms. Is this correct?

I don't know if I'm struggling with consistency or just haven't found my niche yet. But I think Ninja may be too much for me yet (or maybe I'm a wimp😬) My shins still hurt after a workout and I can't do the longer jump times on consecutive days. I think I would rather set a goal of consecutive days than longer jumps right now. And may just have to tough it out with my shins. So I'm going back to the beginner workouts and doing the extra sets for the advanced. Mentally I will treat it like a WOD. It feels a little like failure.
But I still glistened 😀!
Maybe someday I'll grow up to be big like you guys😉
