I really struggled with shin splits pretty badly when I first started jumping - for like the first 6 months. Now for some reason I don’t feel them. It takes time! Good luck - they are painful

Michigan is the same. Cold and depressing. Jump rope is definitely a good mood generator though! Only 6 more months of this weather lol

Welcome to the community Francesco!! You will love jump roping and this community. Just keep going at it hard you will see results. I started with the Shredded Ninja - you will like it

It usually takes me a while to learn new tricks….. I incorporate trying the new trick it into my freestyle little by little and generally get better - and then boom! I’m a natural at it and then it becomes like riding a bike (the agility and muscle memory just make it easy.)

Crossovers have been tough for me though - but I am starting to get better and finally getting the hang of them - but I do think that me using a heavier rope now definitely helps with tricks because it’s easier to control the rope when it has weight on it

Nice job! Double unders are a true testament to athletic advancement in jump roping - I am still working on mine - 4 in a row is very good!

Thanks! There was a time that I couldn’t even do 30 seconds!

Nice. Gotta try that. My body has caught up to vigorous jump roping but I still feel achy once every few days and take a break. I might try this even though yoga really isn’t my thing
