Start off slowly, then gradually build up to longer workouts. If you’re new to jumping rope then I’d suggest you start off with JRD’s beginner programs. Just search for them on the main site. The dumbbell program is quite demanding, so just be aware of that if you’re new to jumping.

Mate, love the caption! This is so true for absolutely everyone. The difference between success and failure is everything you said after the comma!

You're going to love it, Jessica! It's definitely been my favourite program so far.

Glad to hear it, Lindsay. Wow! Surgery on both elbows? That must’ve been horrible. Hope she’s fully healed.

Regress (use resistance bands) if you need to, Lindsay, especially if you haven’t done them for a while. Watch out for both golfers and tennis elbow! It took me well over a year to heal from golfers elbow, and that was with regular physio and reperative exercises. The tendons in the elbows need solid preparation!

Congratulations for taking the first step with jumping rope, Erika. The trick is to stay consistent and keep showing up. Being a busy mum is going to create huge challenges for you, but as you get fitter you’ll become more energetic, and life will somehow become manageable. Looking forward to following your journey and your progress.

Did you jump rope on the plane too, Michał? Double-unders in the aisle? 😜

Is it very noticeable, Aletta? Hopefully the supplier will cover it with the warranty.
