Yes, the 1/2 pound rope definitely worked my shoulders a lot harder this morning! Tiring, but feels great!

Jump rope is compact and can travel easily. I have a week long business trip coming up and planning to take my rope to keep progress going.

I sweat like crazy while doing these jump rope + dumbbell routines, every item of clothing drenched.

Question: What do others do about exercise clothing while traveling?

Take enough for each workout?
Re-wear previous day(s) exercise clothes (assuming they actually dry out by the next day)?
Wash exercise clothing while on the road?
Something else?

Thanks in advance!

Completed Jump Rope + Dumbbells last Friday (8/30/24) with 1/4 pound rope and dumbbells. Lost 8.5 pounds and feeling great!

Restarted Jump Rope + Dumbbells this morning (9/2/24) using 1/2 pound rope this go around. Looking forward to more great progress!

I’ve been doing the Jumerope + Dumbell program for a while, currently in M2W3. Living the program and how I feel!
Last Monday, after my workout was done, I felt a pinch in my back between my shoulder blades. I didn’t feel anything wrong during the workout except maybe a bad push up form close to the end of the workout.
The pain was the type that makes you freeze your and slowly try to straighten out. I don’t know if it was a muscle spasm or a pinched nerve. I had to take the rest of the week off to recover with different stretches, yoga, and foam rolling.
This morning I decided to restart M2W3, but stopped after the first set of 45 seconds because I could feel the same spot in my back. It’s not as painful, but I’m afraid to aggravate the area more.
Has anyone had this problem before? How much longer should I wait before restarting the program?
I don’t think this caused the issue but I just started using a mat from Crossrope to try and extend the life of my rope. I only had it a few days before this problem started and was just on concrete prior to using the mat.
Should I try without the mat when I restart the program? Could the cushioned bounce be contributing to the back issue, or is it just a coincidence?

Hey Dan, I’ve had a crossrope for a few years, but used inconsistently until I started this program last month.

I don’t have a mat, I just #DoTheThing in my driveway each morning. My 1/4# crossrope finally split the outter casing, exposing the steel cable. I’ve wrapped it up with electrical tape for now, but curious to know how often you have to get a new rope?

Keep up the great content!

Just completed M1W4D5! Feeling good, but concerned with the number of pushups in M2. My push-up form still stinks, but I’m making improvements in my form and reps each week.
