I just tried the 2lb weighted ropeless set. Yeah, I need to build some muscle for those bad boysย ๐Ÿ˜‚Had to bail on that workout and do some plyo. That got the sweat flowingย ๐Ÿ˜œ

Just discovered the WOD part of the site (I'm super observant) and it's just what my busy brain needs. Sometimes I struggle to keep a routine and want a change, but then I also struggle to do anything, so I like the pot luck kind of vibe those workouts have. They mean that I can't have a plan, so not a routine workout, but I am intrigued to see what the next day will beย ๐Ÿ’ช

Another week down! I switched it up this week and decided to do the plyo workouts as my pull up bar is wrecking my doorframe and if my other half as to repaint again.....well....๐Ÿ˜‚

We are off to watch the lights being turned on in town shortly and I might have to treat myself to a mince pie ๐ŸŽ„ Have a good weekend everyone!

Month1 Week3 Day5 is in the bag ๐Ÿ˜œ I also wanted to show my new toys to people who might be slightly more interested than my other half ๐Ÿ˜‚ With Dan's discount code the other week, I added the 1/4lb and 1/2 ropes to my set and got the bag to keep everything together. Genuinely thought the bag would be overpriced tat, but it's actually really sturdy and much bigger than I thought! I have been using my ropeless 1/2 this week and I can tell you that my arms know about it! I'll give the ropes a go next week, weather permitting as apparently we are set for arctic winds ๐Ÿฅถ

I seemed to pick up a 24 bug yesterday, so missed a workout. Felt a load better this afternoon, but contemplated another day off. So glad I didn't! JRD Max W1D3 done ๐Ÿ’ช

Day 2 of JRD Max and man are my arms aching ๐Ÿ˜‚ So glad it was just a major sweatfest today! I'm really enjoying Dan's motivation in these workouts, they have a different feel to the Callisthenics challenge. It's a stewed bean dish for tea tonight, let's get some goodness!

Just completed the first workout of JRD Max and wow, that was tough! I can do the grand total of zero pull-ups, so I did inverted rows instead. Definitely won't be able to feel my arms tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜‚

Something arrived today! I had to share this with my fellow JRD buddies! Winter is setting in here in the north west of the UK, which means rain and cold weather. I've had to do a lot of the challenge inside, so I bought a cheap ropeless jump rope to get the workouts in. I was saving for a new phone, but hey, I can use this one for a while longer and I splurged on the whole ropeless set from Crossrope. I've had a little swing and I cannot wait to use these! Definitely far more fun than a new phone! At least this will give me time to save up for the ropes for when the weather is better ๐Ÿ˜œ

I'm just going to lie here for a while. Talk about going out with a bang! W4D5 of the challenge, the final day of the challenge is done! Seriously, I cannot believe I got through that, so thanks everyone in the community for spurring me on! I've lost half a stone this month and I can see a definite change in my body, not to mention the improvement in my stamina. I'm going to keep going on with this jump rope journey and Dan Witmer so glad I saw one of your shorts when YouTube randomly spat one out!
