Hey D&D’s! Just completed JRDB M2W3D3. I’m slowly but surely catching up and am set to complete M2 next week! Feels good to be back doing the thing more regularly now. Have a great day! 😅

I started back at it today with thr 1/4 lb rope and a beginner workout, doing about 1000 jumps. No pain jumping and still feels good. If all is well tomorrow, I will start back on tje JR DB program on Monday. Great to be doing the thing!

Thanks to Michael Ty for inspiring me to do something, even if I can’t do the thing right now. I had a great upper body workout with my DB, doing 7 exercises, 12 reps, and 5 sets. Ended it with 100 AbMat sit ups and 100 push ups. Have a great weekend everyone.

Update after seeing physical therapist: I have strained and irritated my left Extensor digitalis longus and tibialis anterior to the point where they are chronically tight, leading to excruciating upper foot pain. I will have to not jump for a while and let these heal. Lesson learned is that these muscles need regular stretching as well. I religiously stretch my calves but have forgotten about the front of my legs. Hmmmmm

Hey all, I’m a bit bummed out. I haven’t been saying anything because I haven’t been jumping. I woke up yesterday with a messed up foot that for some reason can’t bear weight. It’s no better today and I have no idea what I have done. I sure hope it gets better soon because I’m missing doing the thing!🙁

And just for fun and to see if I could do it (I knew I could 😂), I tried to be like Dan and do 5000 jumps. And I did! After the WOD, I just did another 1000 jumps in 8:55 min. I also thought I should comment on Dan’s math. I’m struggling to figure out how he can do 200 jumps in 1 min when the fastest he was jumping was about 170 jpm. 🤔

Well another 4K jump session is in the books and I feel great! Another PR was set ….. I did it today in 36:09, which is a 6 min improvement over last week! Shows what can happen when I push myself!

I must have woken up with too much energy today, probably because I’m not going skiing. I did my 2100 jumps with the 6 oz rope, 5 sets of lunges with 10 lb DB, 5 sets of squats a curls with 17.5 lb DB and 5 reps of planks. Have a great day all and Do The Thing! 😅💪🏼
