This is what I figured out just this morning. I thought my problem was my jump, but actually I wasn't spinning the rope fast enough for the doubles. Once I figured that out, it was a gamechanger!

Oh man. I'm sorry to hear it, Brandon. Thanks for sharing this with us. You will get through it! As many of us can tell you, we all hit health speedbumps along the way as we get older. I've had my own in the past few years which I've totally recovered from now but which resulted in weight gain because not only could I not exercise but I was stress-eating, etc. So keep positive and stay on that nutrition, which is good advice to us and also to yourself. Hang in there! You can take pleasure in knowing that you are crushing all of us with this double-under challenge this month lol.

Sounds silly but I practiced without the rope to focus on jumping straight up and it helped.

I’m doing the same as you. Once I can keep this rhythm with no mess-ups I’m going to try consecutive ones but I’m not there yet. We will get there!
