Just did month 1 day 4 of the heavy rope program for the first time. I did 80 skips every time Dan did 100 so I did 2,400 with the 1-pounder. Did 600 skips after with the 1/2-pounder just to get to 3,000. Will try to do 90 skips each time next week. The real problem with the heavy ropes for me is the grip. My wrists start to give out eventually but I will improve!! 🤜🤛

Ooooooh boy. Did Day 2 of the Heavy Rope Program for the first time and here are my thoughts: I struggle with the 1-pound rope for extended sets, and I fear trying with the 2-pounder tomorrow but I will give it my all. What I DO enjoy is the porn-stache on Dan haha. So it all balances out. : )

Late to the party but just started the heavy rope program this morning. Finished JRD90 yesterday and happy about that. Scared of busting out the 1-pounder and 2-pounder in this new program but here we go!

Finished week 11 of JRD90. One more to go. And while I still do not enjoy 2-minute sets with the 1/2-pound rope, I now can do them without my shoulders and arms wanting to give out. Easy-peasy. 😃😃

Pumped to do the heavy rope program soon, as I peeped at it and it looks super professional in quality, plus you can run your own music in the background, plus Dan looks ripped as always for added bonus. I'm still finishing up JRD 90. Today was W10D2 which was a lot of 2-minute sets. Pleased to report that I used to have problems doing more than a minute with the 1/2-pound rope because my shoulders would start to kill, but was no problem today. Just crushed it. Just stay consistent, everyone, and we will all see gains. Celebrate each and every one, as they are earned and exciting!

Just did a “rounds for time” workout from JRD90 in week 7. Those workouts are fun. Since there’s no rest, you can just turn your brain off and turn into a total robot. Which I enjoy haha. Meanwhile…I’m excited and nervous for the heavy rope program. Worried it will be a real struggle for me but I’m going to do it once I finish this JRD90 program!

After a debaucherous vacation followed by getting sick, I’m back into week 7 of JRD90. The 120 push-ups killed me but got it done. Let’s gooooooo!

Finished Week 6 of JRD 90, which I still think is one of the most fun weeks of any program here. Some wild workouts and some tough ones too! I am flying to Vegas this weekend and will hit pause on this program until I'm back. I will utilize the very nice gym where I'm staying, but I know there's not a great place to jump rope at this particular gym, and it's going to be over 105 degrees outside every day, so that's not a great option either. So...treadmill and weights for a week and then back in it for Week 7!

W6D1 of JRD90. It’s my favorite week of the program. EMOMs, plus a squat ladder and an insane burpee ladder, all with Dan. So fun and super challenging. Let’s goooooo. 😃❤️💪
