Very proud of myself. One more workout to JRD Max! Debating what I'll do next. Looking forward to crushing whatever it may be. Let's go!

Almost at the finish line with JRD Max. (And you can catch a glimpse of how hazy the air still is here from the wildfire smoke. Ugh!) Let’s go, friends!

So jealous of Dan's outdoor workout again. This summer in Vermont--where the summers are usually absolute perfection in my opinion--has been really lousy. Lots of rain, massive destruction in the surrounding areas from flooding last week, and now the wildfire smoke is back in full effect, covering the area in haze and smoke and putting the air quality #s in the "dangerous for all groups" category. I'm very grateful to have a workout space at home so I can do the thing with my buddy Dan and all my JRD pals! Let's go!

I've loved this program. Very challenging, but also so much fun and so gratifying to watch my strength and athleticism progress. I feel like every day is another tiny step forward, and that is a great feeling. I wish everything in life were like that haha. Anyway...have a great day, friends!

Man that Month 3 JRD Max ladder is a beast! Got it done without crying though haha. Meanwhile here in Vermont we are going to get more rain today and tomorrow, which for anyone seeing it in the news is not great. My house will be fine but the surrounding area has had some devastating damage so send good vibes this way, friends. And do the thing!

Challenged myself to get 25 DUs every minute and...I did it! I am hoping this will inspire some of you because: I am not a natural athlete AT ALL. I smoked for over 20 years. I never exercised once in my life until my 30s (I'm now 52). Every time I'd think I'd hit my stride with something, I'd hit a major roadblock (lung collapse that put me in the hospital for 8 days, cancer treatments (all good now), minor injuries I'd constantly get from running, always something.). I eventually just thought...eh this is as good as it gets. But when I couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror anymore, I found JRDs. And something clicked. A year ago, I could not do a single double-under, I could not do really any moves except regular bounce, etc. But if you stick with this, you can make awesome gains. Just don't rush it, while also being stubborn to do something just a smidge better than you did it the week before. Sorry for the long post. Just felt like sharing while the endorphins are flowing! Have a great day, everyone! Let's do it!

Two more weeks left of JRD Max for me. Been having a blast. I'll either do Shredded Ninja next or just do the WODs for a while, which I always enjoy. But two more weeks! Let's go!

The ladder from JRD max month 3 day 4 is a beast but honestly…really fun. Cooling down on my porch a bit on what is going to be a steamy day. Have a good one, people!
