I always listen to a dance workout playlist on Apple Music. The beats really helps me get in the flow and makes me tap my feet to the beat. 😀

After being on a hiatus for over a year due to a knee injury, I’m finally back and it feels great. I kept my JRD membership because I was determined to get back to what helped me with my physical and mental health.: jumping!

Hi everyone. It’s been so long since I’ve posted or jumped. I haven’t jump since January and consistently since last September after sustaining a patellar tendon tear. I’m not sure when I’ll return to it, but I’m here often to be encouraged by everyone’s posts and progress. I’m looking forward to jumping again one day, as I’ve grieved the loss of my five day a week workout. I didn’t realize how much the workout meant to me until it was taken away.

Anyways, this is just me processing. I’m looking forward to the new JRD handles and potential swag in the future. Take care and Do the Thing!

Joe De Luca, the shoulder is getting closer, but I've had a setback with patellar tendonitis (jumper's knee). I have to eliminate jumping until the tendons are strengthened.

Man, this is so cool. I can’t wait to heal up and be able to dive into the program.

This is my favorite one. Once I get to the end, I start from the beginning for additional time so I can burn more. Haha

It depends on your budget and forming habits. Every habit needs a system. For instance, would it be easier to have a system that involves you working out at home or driving to a gym? I prefer working out at home, and my system involves getting up at the same time and doing the routine. Going to the gym takes too much time away from me but that may not that be the case for you. 😀

Jumping rope lowered my blood pressure almost 20 points. I’m no longer pre hypertension. It’s safe to say jumping is a very healthy option, as HIIT really strengthens your heart. 🤙🏻
