Thanksgiving is specifically a US holiday, so happy Thanksgiving to all of you. But we can all have a thankful heart. I am so thankful for Dan. For his hard work in developing JRD. And for this community and all of you. Have a great day.

I tweaked my shoulder again a few weeks ago. I am back to doing wall push ups. And I was doing so goodπŸ˜–πŸ™‚. One thing I really appreciate about this community is this. You guys aren't afraid to post your ups and downs in your fitness journey. So this time I understand that it is OK to have a set back. I just work around it or deal with it for a while then come back and keep doing the thing. It's what you do over the long term that matters most. See, I'm learning😁

I've been rather inconsistent the last two weeks. Back on it today with w4d1 plyo. I can get 45 secs before having to stop. Grrr... I knew it was going to be tough,πŸ˜–πŸ₯΄πŸ™‚

So how do you guys learn new tricks? Do you set aside a separate time? Do you try doing them during a workout? Or do some at the end of a workout? Just curious what works for you.

I got 4 single DUs in a row. Then I hit my toes!Β  My best so far. I was also able to do the fast skip, boxer skip, and criss cross (not for the whole workout but I did 'em). Finished plyo w3d5 (with a few longer rest periods). It was so hard. I could barely finish the last circ. Probably because I have not been very consistent the last two weeks. We'll, it's a new week.

Got all 5 circs this time. Added +1 to each jump squat set. I think I'm back now. Sorry I got off track.

"Health isn't determined by what you do in a day or a week, but by what you do consistently over years and years."

Read this in an email this morning from Kamal Patel co-founder of Examine.com.Β  He was specifically addressing the consumption of artificial sweeteners but I thought it was applicable inΒ general.

I took 6 days off. I was just tired and the thought entered my mind that I wanted to just quit. However, plyo week3 day4 today was tough. I only did half. Will do it again Friday. πŸ˜΅πŸ˜–πŸ˜ πŸ™‚

So I would like to lose about 15 pounds. According to my Fitbit (I know it's more of a guide line than totally accurate) I burn approx. 2100-2500 cals during the week and a little less on the weekends. Iget 10000-15000 steps on my job during the week (less on the weekend) I jump 2-3 days a week and get in 2 days of strength training. I am eating in a calorie deficit. I intermittent fast. My window is 12pm to 8pm but I don't usually eat that late. I have been doing this for 6+ months at least. But nothing is happening. I don't have scales to weigh myself but my clothes size is not changing and I am not seeing the changes in my body that I would like to see. What am I doing wrong?Β
