Hi everyone! Did a jump rope workout today and filmed myself to check my form. I look very clumsy and totally not smooth with the rope, so I want to know how I can improve my form and become better. I feel like I'm a bit too stiff, and I would like to become more loose and flowy with the rope but whenever I try, I trip. I would appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback! I'm really not used to filming myself, let alone sharing it, but I feel like this community is very helpful in terms of support and advice without judgement so I thought why not :) Thanks!

PS. This is day 15 of me jumping rope. I still need a whole lot to improve!

I just finished another jump rope workout, but I feel like my shin splints are getting worse. I can't do the boxer skip because the pain/soreness in my shins is too intense. I did a warm-up before, took a rest day, but then when I continue my work outs I feel it getting worse. I also feel like I'm too excited, wanting to jump everyday. As of now I took rest days every other day. Should I take more rest days? Do you guys have any tips? Thank you 🙏

Hi guys! I started the JRD Max program yesterday and today I finished Day 2 of Month 1! IT WAS SO INTENSE!!!! I whipped myself more than 10 times with the 1/4 lbs rope, leaving painful red marks, so after 15 minutes I switched to my regular rope to avoid any more pain 🥲 I know, I'm a wuss... But tomorrow I will try and continue with the 1/4 lbs rope again. I wanted to quit after 15 minutes but I pulled through and finished the whole work out. Kinda proud of myself for that haha.

How did your day go? Did you also jump rope today? 😊💪🏽

Hi JRD community!

I'm new here and I'm excited to be a part of this jump rope community. Today marks the last day of my 7-day jump rope challenge, and it's also the beginning of my fitness journey. I never knew jump rope could be this much fun! I joined this community because I want to keep myself motivated, accountable, and connect with others who are on the same journey as I am. I hope to share my progress soon (perhaps in a few months?).

Thanks, JRD, for kickstarting my new hobby and helping me get fit in a fun way!

Happy jumping! :)
