What you’ve described is not only a toxic environment but it is also tantamount to modern slavery. You absolutely have to get out of there, as trapped as you might be feeling right now. Having to find a new job might be an incredibly stressful experience, and I totally respect that, but what if you land an amazing job? The stress of it all will all have been worth it. No one deserves to be treated like that in the workplace, so for the sake of yourself, your family, and self preservation, you should leave!

Michał Tyburczy whenever I watch the videos that you post here I just shake my head because you make it look so easy! You’ve got all the tricks and all the moves! For me it’s usually just regular bounce and occasionally run in place. Still need to learn boxer skip, fast skip, and double unders. Keep those videos coming - you’re inspirational.

So true! The deal I made with myself is to always try to do something. Ten minutes out of a 30 minute work out is better than doing nothing at all. Also, it’s good to see that you’re human too, Dan, and not the machine that you appear to be in your workout videos. As we say in Aus, Good on ya mate!

Mate I reckon you need two Aussie flags for your next post to shout out to all of us Aussies in this community. We’re the only ones in JRD Nation who get to jump rope upside down, right?

You’re doing an awesome job, Dan! I absolutely love your workouts. I’ve done JRD 90, JRD MAX, plus a whole bunch of daily workouts, and now I’m three weeks into your Dumbbell program. Matter of fact, I recently went on a cruise around Italy and Croatia, and every morning at 5am I hit the gym on board with my 1/4 lb cross rope, my ear pods in, with Mr Witmer yelling at me to sprint! Thanks to JRD I’m in the best shape I’ve been in in 20 years!

Hey Dan, just curious: are you flying solo these days at JRD, or is Brandon still at the helm with you?

Mate unfortunately I didn’t take before and after photos, and I’m kicking myself for not doing so. I think part of me was too ashamed to be that exposed, but hopefully the story itself will be encouraging enough to someone here.
