Joe De Luca on a side note, I generally don’t stress about what the scale tells me. The dumbbell program has allowed me to gain a bit of muscle, and with all the pull-ups and dips that I’ve been doing, that reflects on the scale as weight gain. I tend to judge where I’m at by how loose or tight my pants feel. I have a pair of shorts that I use as a benchmark. They’re a comfortable 32” waist, and there’s not much stretch in them, so these “magic shorts” don’t lie! 😜

You’ll get there mate! You’ve got an awesome attitude, you’ve got the support of this community, and you’ve got all those amazing ropes to get you there!

Joe De Luca how tall are you mate? If you don’t mind me asking.

Ollie M. is there a specific model/style of Vibram 5 Fingers that you would recommend for jumping rope? From what I’ve seen they have styles for hiking and other styles for running, etc. I’m actually really keen to get a pair and give them a go.

Wait... WHAT?? Are you for real? Don't your feet hurt with those? Surely there's like zero support for your feet?

Mate, you make it look like you're bouncing on a trampoline! 😆

Good on ya mate! When I started with JRD I weighed 96kg (211lb), which is waaay too much for a 5'7 dude. Thanks to JRD-90, followed by JRD-Max, coupled with clean eating, I'm now down to 75kg (165lb). Plus, at 54 years old I'm no spring chicken either!

1000% yes!!! Dan Witmer I’m currently doing the dumbbell program (M2 W1), and I’ve been following it to the letter, except for one small change that I like to make. Wherever you do bicep curls I do pull ups. That small change has worked well for me so far, but I’d love a program that makes pull ups the star of the show.

Aletta Armee I’ve actually just tested positive for Flu “A”, so no training for me until I’ve shaken this thing. Can’t tell you how annoyed I am right now! 🤬

Aletta, I can totally relate to how you’re feeling right now. I’ve come down with something, and I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Usually at this time on a Sunday afternoon (I live in Australia) I start mentally preparing for my early morning workout on Monday, but I’m really concerned that I simply won’t have the energy to even try. Do I just do the thing and risk getting more sick, or do I rest and then beat myself up later for not having the willpower to work out no matter what. It really sucks getting sick!
