Day 1 done.

Was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic (HbA1C of 5.8).

Goal by the end of this month is to reverse that, shed some LBs, and try to look good in my jeans.

Let’s go.

Been traveling a lot with kids this summer, which had been fun, but my diet has been absolute high octane crap. Sleep hasn’t been great, energy levels sluggish come workout time, and rehabbing from shoulder injury has complicated things further. Feels like I regressed hard the last few months.

I can swing the rope ok, gets a little tight with heavier ropes but otherwise manageable.

Pushups and pull ups still hurt sadly. Squats and lunges are fine.

1) cooking (maybe a limited series on home cooked meals)

2) how do you take care of your mental health

3) how can I get elderly parents, reluctant spouses, reluctant children to also exercise with me on my fitness journey

4) stretching/recovery/mobility/injury prevention series

Dan Witmer I was thinking 1 program incorporating both? Sometimes I mix it up and do some swings/presses/squats after a heavy rope interval but I think a structured program like the others you offer would be cool

Heavy ropes + kettlebells would be 🔥🔥🔥 please

Expect frustration at first.

Expect to sleep better at night after a week.

Expect to feel agile and mobile after two weeks.

Expect to feel unstoppable, lean, and like a stone cold badass after a few months.
