Two questions. Why am I old? Why am I fat? Hopefully we can reduce that to one question.

Paul BlanchardΒ At least you should miss the storm! Hahaha! Have a safe trip!

So jealous of that sunshine! I'm with Aletta, it's cold and snowing here in Cheshire πŸ₯Ά Indoor workouts so no excuses πŸ’ͺ

Aletta Armee I am sure you will! Glad your fatigue has passed and you can jump back in πŸ€—

I don't think this is much of a tip, but I'm not there with pushups yet either. I can do a couple now though, but find the ones with knees down get me closer and I can focus on keeping my body straight and my arms going where I need them, and not looking like a squashed spider πŸ˜‚ These assisted pushups look good though, as you can do what I am, but in the full position. I think I need to get some of these bands to bridge the gap!

Aletta Armee well, I think! I can definitely feel the ache πŸ˜‚ I've noticed a change in my shape, so I do think they work and I am always shattered after my workout, so that's good! I know that I'm not going to exercise outside when it's cold, I'm just not that type of person, so with these, I don't have any excuse. That being said, I will for sure be out when the weather allows so I can try out these new ropes! Hope you had a good week!

Month1 Week3 Day5 is in the bag 😜 I also wanted to show my new toys to people who might be slightly more interested than my other half πŸ˜‚ With Dan's discount code the other week, I added the 1/4lb and 1/2 ropes to my set and got the bag to keep everything together. Genuinely thought the bag would be overpriced tat, but it's actually really sturdy and much bigger than I thought! I have been using my ropeless 1/2 this week and I can tell you that my arms know about it! I'll give the ropes a go next week, weather permitting as apparently we are set for arctic winds πŸ₯Ά

Have a good weekend everyone!

Stephen Payne ah bril, I will give those options a shot later! I think I'll be cracking champagne when I fist do a full pull up πŸ˜‚

Hi Stephen Payne , I really appreciate it, that's sort of been what I've been doing on these Monday workouts as I just don't have the strength to do the full on pull ups. Even the inverted rows are tough! Glad to know that I'm heading in the right direction though, as sometimes it's easy to just try and jump right in and cause some injury just because we think we should be able to do it. Even at this point, I'd say my inverted rows aren't clean and very much a challenge, but I will keep going with them. I think by the time I'm ready to introduce bands, it'll be spring and I'll get a pull up bar for the back garden so I'll have plenty of space to make sure I'm moving correctly without avoiding the door frame πŸ˜‚ Thanks again for the tips and your experience with these, they are by far the hardest exercise for me! Have a good week!

I definitely am when I finish the workout πŸ˜‚ the push-up ladder in this programme is tough!
