Hey, my knee is still messed up so I'm doing the let it heal thing on holiday in Cape Verde... Doctors orders 😎😎

Man, that's the shit right there... At my lowest point many years ago, I woke up in a doorway with a bottle of vodka and someone I didn't even know, that's when I decided I needed help. I ended up on house arrest in my own home for 2 months while the medication kicked in and fought for my sanity daily. 7 years ago I got married at the age of 47, with a great job and a comfortable life then boom I needed serious spine surgery or I was going to lose the use of my legs... After successful surgery I lost 2 and half stone by getting back to training, boxing and MMA. Now I'm 54 and found JRD to up my game to the next level, as soon as I became a member I twisted my knee and can't train 🤣

My point... I've had so much in my life from a very early age that should have broke me yet here I am looking forward to picking my rope up when I can and not cursing that I can't right now. I've learned life is about perspective and there's always a silver lining, sometimes it's hard to find but it is there... just breathe and do the thing. 😎
