A great start to the day with JRDB M2D2 completed. I decided to amp it up a bit and used my good old purple 6 oz rope to get my 3000+ jumps in. And it’s another blue bird day so you know where I’m off to now for the rest of the day! 🎿⛷😅

It was a bluebird day skiing today but I made sure I got my WOD, JRDB M2W2D1 in before I went. Gotta keep doing the thing!! 🎿💪🏼😅

This is such a humbling program, especially for people who still think that JR is a warmup. 😅This program is also meant for creating and smashing PRs! Never have I ever done a 4000 jump workout before, but today I did! And it was not anywhere n ar as gruelling as I expected. As you can see, I took just over 40 min to complete, but now I have a goal of beating 40 min next week. And a great cardio blast! I love it!!

Hey dudes, I have another question. After completing JRDB Month 2, Day 3, I have a question regarding DB forward lunges…….is it more effective to do stationary lunges or walking lunges. I do walking lunges as part of my regular warmup and wanted to do the same in the WOD. I actually did 1 set of walking and 2 of stationary. Any advice Dan? Anyone?

Awesome jump day. When I was about half way through the 1 min sets I had a feeling I wouldn’t make 3000 jumps in the allotted time so I added one extra 1 min set in and ended up with 3142 jumps! I shouldn’t have doubted my self but once I committed to the extra set, I had to Do The Thing!

Hey, welcome all to Month 2 of JRDB! I got started on the right day this week so we’re off to a good start. With the variety of DB exercises today, I had to use 3 weight sets: 17.5 for curls/press, 15 for front shoulder raises and 10 for flys. Also did my obligatory 2000+ jumps to actually surpass 50,000 jumps this month which equals another PR!! 🥳😅

A day late as usual but Month 1 of JRDB is done! What a great set of exercises and month! I loved the format of alternating cardio with DB and I have to say, my cardio endurance has definitely improved. Since this was the last day of month 1, I wanted to end it strong so this JRoD did 2100 jumps, raised my DB weight to 17.5 lbs and did 140 bicep curls (70 per side) and ended with 125 push-ups (+25 push-ups in my warm up for a total of 150)! I am definitely all set now for a terrific weekend! Have a great one all and I can’t wait for Monday to see what Dan has in store for us next ….. no I’m not cheating and looking ahead, I want the surprise! 😂😅💪🏼

Another PR for me since getting my AMP handles. I set a goal of 40,000 jumps this month and today I passed it. Don’t know if I have ever done this before (I don’t think so) but it’s the first since I started measuring. And I only had to do 70 extra jumps today to hit my daily 3000 jumps! 😅
