I was using 1lb βropeβ; my regular work out weight. Takes some practice to control the spin so that handles stay parallel to body as the centrifugal (?) force seems to want to bring the handles out of the plane of your body. Also they ropes seem to spin faster than if I was using a real 1lb rope, so need to pay attention to skipping at same pace. Overall, useful as I travel a bit and can never be sure if the fitness room have high enough feelings with the winter weather they are coming in very handy.
