Just finished Week 4 of Shredded Ninja. I had not done pistol squats for a while and boy did I forget how bad at them I am haha. Hope everyone is doing the thing and having a great day! Excited to see the new month-long program next week! Woo-hoo!

Did the thing on this foggy morning. I have the week off from work so I’ll go for an easy hike this afternoon even though I’d rather sit on my couch reading a book and snacking all day instead haha. Have a good day, friends! ❤️😀👍🏻😎

Back doing Shredded Ninja again. Just did week 2 day 3. Doing DUs multiple times for 30 seconds is no joke. Went for 40 every time. Sometimes only got 35, but got 50 once which felt amazing. New benchmark! Totally gassed now. How’s it going for you, April Barton ?

Went for a short run on what should’ve been a day off and midway through tweaked my calf. I’m always copying Joe De Luca ! I was a mile from home and thought I’d just flag someone down to drive me back to my house, but literally no one drove by lol. Small town living! Anyway. Not happy this morning.

This guy keeps showing up at my house and scaring the sh** out of me. Today his face appeared in the little window of my basement while I was working out and I literally yelled lol. But isn’t he beautiful?

Anyone else try to upload a video but was unable to do so? Tried via my phone and also via my laptop, but couldn't get it uploaded. It is probably worth noting that my wifi here is sloooooooooow so it could just be that?

First day of week 2 of SN. Lots of 2-minute freestyle sets interspersed with push-ups. Kicked my butt and was pretty humbling tbh. But I just kept saying, “It’s supposed to be hard, it’s supposed to be hard…” which helps me. Smiling in the photo bc I wuz doooooone. ❤️❤️😎😎✌🏻✌🏻

I had previously gotten through half of shredded ninja and then stopped it and went back to the WODs. Not sure why but I’m enjoying having started it again. And I forgot how freaking hard it is lol! Bring it! ❤️💪🫶✌🏻

...I did the first two days of Shredded Ninja today and yesterday. Achilles feels okay. If I try to do any moves with single-leg jumps, I notice it, so I'm sticking to regular bounce and boxer skip. But today's tabata-style workout had a ton of DUs and they were totally fine. So...cautiously moving forward? I feel like there is a dad joke to be made here about jumping forward or something. Lucky for all of you, I'm not a dad, so we are all spared haha. Have a great day, everyone!

So...I'm having some achilles trouble this week, so I'm taking the week off from jumping to let it heal up. I normally would lift weights when I can't jump or run, but I got a little overzealous and did something to my elbow, so now that's out for now too. Feeling very restless not being able to do the thing every morning, but I know I need to chill this week. And so I will make myself chill but it is not easy!
