My right pec is still sore enough that doing push-ups and pull-ups today would have made it a real injury. It hurts in a not good way. So I did the jumprope portion of the workout and will run on the treadmill now for a bit to get an extra calorie burn. Eager to continue w JRD Max but trying not to be stupid and get injured.

OMG

That is my reaction to doing Month 1 Day 5 of JRD Max for the first time. Ha. i thought it would be easy, but honestly my pecs and biceps were still not fully recovered from Wednesday which made this crazy tough. I was fine up until 10 push-ups on the way up the ladder, then switched to knee push-ups until the ladder came back down to 4. I had a horrible day yesterday and slept so poorly last night, so I'm proud of myself for doing this the best I could this morning. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Month 1 Day 4 of JRD Max. Fun one! There's kind of a fakeout though. There should be three more minute of skipping, right? I was ready! Anyway...happy to have done this as I woke up to a shitstorm of work problems today that are going to make me have a verrrry long and annoying day. This was probably the most fun I'll have all day! Let's get it!

First time doing Day 3 of the first month of JRD Max. Lots of chin-ups. I managed 30 all in really good form. Will try to up from 3 to 4 each set next week or at least for several sets. Feeling it in my chest in I hope a good way? Sometimes my pecs take a long time to recover so here’s hoping they’ll be ready to rock by the next time I walk up to that pull-up bar. Let’s goooooooooo peeps! (For anyone struggling: it is worth noting that a year ago I could do exactly zero pull-ups and zero chin-ups!) ❤️❤️💪💪😸😸

Just did the first day of JRD Max. Probably could have maxed out on the push-ups and pull-ups more? I did 13 each set for push-ups, and just 2 pull-ups every time. Still...that's 20 pull-ups which is a lot of pull-ups for me! Next week I will try 15 push-ups each set and 3 pull-ups each set and see how it goes. Was fun to work out with Dan! I always work out alone, so he is the studly best workout buddy I've never had haha. Thanks, Dan!

Back from the land of sunshine to Vermont where we got another foot of snow while I was gone. Back to doing the thing in my basement for a bit. Gonna start JRD Max on Monday. Hell yeah let’s gooooooooo!!! Gotta tone up this little belly that is on my nerrrrvvvves. 🤓🤓❤️❤️😎😎💪💪

Love seeing so many new faces and names! Getting jealous of everyone starting JRD Max! But I know bc of schedule stuff it’ll be better for me to wait to start. Having fun doing the March WODs for now! Let’s gooooo! 😃❤️😎💪

Prob won’t start JRD Max until May as I have so much travel coming up and like to be able to juggle different WODs in that kind of unpredictable schedule. It looks awesome though and I can’t wait! Meanwhile today’s WOD was super fun. Loved it. Let’s go, peeps!!!
