In nyc this week so it’s early morning workouts in the park for me. It’s soooooo humid here which makes a tough workout even tougher. Saw another jump-roper too which I’d never seen. Off we go! Let’s crush it this week!

Chilling on the porch after today’s DU bonanza. Averaged at least 20 DUs per 20-second interval. Which comes to over 400 for the workout. Craziness! Let’s get it! Happy Friday! 💪💪✌🏻✌🏻🤓🤓

Enjoyed today's WOD. Speed-skaters are fun and I'm actually getting good at the burpees. No single-leg jumping for me as my left achilles is still a little tender and putting all the pressure on one leg was not going to help that situation. But overall a good workout! Let's get it!

Upper body days are always the hardest for me, but I did it. Then I added in some jumping for 15 minutes with the 1/4-pounder for some extra calorie burn. Intervals of 3 minutes, 3, 2, 2, 1, 2, 1, 1. Thinking a lot about plateaus, as it seems like a lot of us are struggling at what feels like a plateau after making huge gains. I can't tell for me whether it's actually my calorie intake that needs to come down a bit or whether I'm just being impatient. I think it's a little of both. I've lost over 20 pounds in six months and so I feel like I should be freaking ripped by now! But honestly I AM already ripped compared to what I looked like last March. So again, I think I'm being impatient and not trusting the process sometimes. Okay...long post. Just thought I'd share that while it was on my mind after my workout and the endorphins are still flowing since a few people mentioned being in the same spot on the call yesterday afternoon! Have a good one, peeps!

Recording myself doing double-unders showed me just how much my chest and belly are still jiggling around lol. Good lord. It looks tight in this freeze frame though, right? Ha. Enjoy today’s squat-o-rama!! 🤓🤓❤️❤️💪💪

Got to the first September workout through the search function even though the regular entry point does not work. Todays ladder was tough! 24 minutes of jumping! Subbed in the quarter-pound for the last two 90-second intervals as my triceps and shoulders were burning and I dydbt know if I’d make it with the half-pound! Let’s crush these workouts, friends! 💪💪

After doing the recovery yoga vid, I tried on a bunch of clothes I’d stopped wearing years ago because the shirts stretched over my gut or the pants wouldn’t close because I’d gained a few waist sizes. Guess what? They all fit again. Yahoo!!! I still have some work to do to be where I want to be, but this felt like a big victory to celebrate today. Yahoo!

Did tomorrow's workout and it was a fun one. Threw in some 1-pound rope for fun, then remembered that I don't really like the 1-pound rope haha. Anyway...feeling very proud today as I cracked 177 pounds on the scale, down to 176.6 this morning, which is a new benchmark. I'd been sorta stuck at 178-ish for a while but now I'm feeling like I jumped another big hurdle and some new things are clicking. I really only want to get down to like 170 or so, and I want that damn six-pack. I'm gonna get you, six-pack! Let's do it, friends!

Whenever I do a workout with multiple pull-ups or chin-ups, I feel a very painful pinching in my underarm. Last time I pushed through it I got a big bruise on the edge of my chest there so I’m stopping when it gets painful now and subbing in other non-arm exercises. Anyone ever experience this or know what the heck it is?
