And that's exactly what you should do. When the workout is too tough for you to complete as prescribed, just do the best that you can do, but I say just get through the whole workout and push yourself. When you do it next week, try to do it a little better. i've been doing this a long time now, and the sets in the workout you just did are REALLY long, so don't beat yourself up if you couldn't crack it first try! Improvements take a while, so just be persistent and consistent and celebrate any and all small victories!

Just finished first time through the first week of the dumbbell program and really loving it. Well done, Dan! Will have to pivot to doing non-dumbbell workouts next week as I'll be back in NYC without a gym membership or my dumbbells, but I will have my trusty ropes!Β

Right there with you. Loving it as well!

These jumprope sets were super long, so don't beat yourself up about it if it was hard. First of all, it's supposed to be hard! And also it takes a long time to able to complete this much pure jumping, so just go at it as you can and you will be better at it every time. You're crushing it!

Glad you're back in action, my friend!

Agree with Joe! Just start with the beginner program and see how that goes. Maybe even do it twice before jumping into one of the longer programs.

Week 3 Day 4 of the challenge finished. Those 2-minute sets are no joke! Shoulders burnin' but I feel great. Have a great day, everyone!
