I would encourage you to utilize a stationary bike more than jumping during your healing process. Jumping strengthens your calves but it also puts a lot of stress on them. Maybe lessen your time and amount jumping. Also, roll your calves out and drink plenty of fluid. You got this!

It started last Spring as just weight loss. Now it’s for continual weight loss and building up my cardiovascular. Also, it’s low impact is easier on me than running. Before my surgery, it helped increase my run time, so it will continue be used to keep me up on my cardio for my military job. Once I get to my final desired weight, I’ll use it to sustain my weight and allow me eat in a decent calorie maintenance. Finally, I love getting jumper’s high. When I hit it, I get so pumped during the workout. 🤙🏻

I’ve always used the heavy handles on the 1/2lbs rope. The slim handles don’t support my wrist enough for that rope, so the heavy handles work perfectly.

I use running shoes. I’ve jumped in ASICS and recently Brookes.

Congrats, Kevin! It’s always encouraging when folks notice changes. This always gives me more motivation than when the scale goes down. 🤙🏻
