helps with protein synthesis which aids in muscle building and muscle recovery. however, if you look up all the body does with amino acids its pretty incredible. and its hard to get the essential aminos through food since we dont always eat how we should. i use em just as a dietary supp. kinda covering my butt since i tend to eat the same foods all the time.
