Today is a shitty day, and did not get enough or good sleep πŸ’€ so decided to make it a recovery day..
Always nice to have a recovery session to β€˜fall back on’ whenever needed.

Day two of being back to jumping, today was hard (mental fatigue and DOMS in my quads) so I was just going through the motions..
But hey I just dobled my streak of consecutive days jumping πŸ˜‰ build that routine one day at a time πŸ™πŸ»

Hi fam πŸ‘‹
Was hoping to get going on Monday but… been having severe GI issues since Friday! Movement seems to antagonise is, even something as mild as walking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ
So now it’s about getting the gut back on track! Fearing for a period with low carb, low energy but beats concistant abdominal pain..

Friday came around and yes we still have to get it in. Got to my usual AM workout but sit take the rest between sessions, that round of golf tires me out a bit more that expected πŸ™ˆ

Evening from Denmark πŸ‘‹
Decided to skip my workout today, only because I knew I had a tee-time on the golf course πŸŒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
It’s about 4 hours and only about 800 calories burned (from exercise) that’s 200/hour, but it’s NOT strenuous and I’m able to #DoTheThing again tomorrow AM.
800 calories from. Jump rope πŸ’― would have recover for a day or two! Don’t underestimate LISS cardio in combo with the rope πŸ™πŸ»
FYI step counter just shy of 24k for today πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Still getting up and get to #DoTheThing in the AM which is a blessing for the rest of the day πŸ™πŸ»
Today I did a (again) short workout 3 rounds of 30/10 for 5 sets followed by a 30 sec plank.
Feels amazing to be back at it 🀩

Today I’m one step further in getting back to full throttle πŸ’ͺ🏻 pains me mentally to go slower than last time, but hopefully it will not hurt physically 😁
2 sets of going 45/15 for 5min followed by a 45 sec plank. Just happy to be back πŸ™πŸ»

Second day of just doing something..
Five sets of 1:45 on and 0:15 off. Was tough enough, so maybe back 0:45/0:15 for the next days πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ we’ll see..

Inspired by some of you guys getting started I went back in my photo gallery to check my own progress.
Needless to say back then I didn’t take any pictures of my physic so all I have to go on is my face.
There is about a 60 lbs difference and looks like all that was on my face πŸ˜‚
So to all the new ones, we all started somewhere. But we all have one thing in common, we decided enough and we started taking action just as you do now πŸ’ͺ🏻 and no it was not a 3 month transformation me, but a lifestyle change πŸ™πŸ» one day at a time and sooner than you think you will not recognise the old you.
Now go #DoTheThing πŸ’ͺ🏻

Been doing some stretches only the last week or so, and today decided to pick back up the rope! πŸ₯³
Got in the 10 min of jumping I said I would, and boy was it had to stop πŸ›‘ even if I did what I wanted. But held myself back and did a quick yoga session also.
No need to come back only to get injured again πŸ™
