The shin splints have officially crept in. 😕 Managed to do day 2 today, but had to take it easier than usual with a few extra breaks throughout the workout. I’m hoping I can make it through to the end of the week with the workouts, buuuut don’t want to injure myself either! Hope everyone is getting a good sweat in today!

Starting my week off right with some jump rope! Day 1 of the heavy rope workout is done, and I’ve put in my work for the day. Starting to feel some shin splints creeping in, but working on my stretching post workout really seems to help. Do the thing dudes and dudettes! 😎

Happy Saturday dudes and dudettes! So pumped that I finished this week strong. M1D5 is in the books! I’m happy that I was able to do the full 1000 for both 1/4lb sets, and am equally happy with the fact that I averaged about 75 skips per 100 of Dan’s skips for both 1lb sets. Woohoo!

M1D4 of the heavy ropes all done! I knew I wasn’t going to make it to 3000 skips with the 1lb, so I made a goal of making it to 2000 skips with the 1lb and I surpassed my goal! 2300 skips over the duration of the workout! Did sets of 50 jumps with small breaks, and somehow counted it all in my head. Hope everyone is putting their skips in for the day! 💪🏻

Heavy rope program day 3… wow! It has been years since I’ve picked up my 2 pounder, and boy did I underestimate that beast! But I’m happy to say I pushed through the 2 pound circuit, 10 jumps at a time. My respect has returned for the beast! 🔥

Happy Tuesday! Loving the heavy rope program so far, and am feeling so empowered that I managed to stick through the whole workout with all the 1lb circuits! 🔥 W2D2 is in the books, I’m drenched and ready to get on with the rest of my day. Hope everyone feels great after working out today!

Hi everyone! It’s been a minute! Summer has been so busy with so many new ventures, and my skipping has taken a back seat for quite some time. I see I missed the first week of the new heavy rope program, but I’m hoping I can join in on the challenge fun for week 2! Looks like some amazing workouts, and I’m ready to get a good sweat on again! Anybody that’s gone through the first week, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Happy Friday!

Between easing myself back into jump rope, a week long visit to my parents house, and practicing patience, I’ve officially finished week 1 of the dumbbell program! 🤩 Still not a huge fan of pushups, but I’m making it work. So excited to keep going with this program!

Who else out there is doing the dumbbell program??

Hi everyone, been a little MIA the last couple weeks! Summer time has just not been my time this year! 😅
Working through some bigger projects over the last month or so, and I’ve missed out on a lot of jumping. I haven’t prioritized working out, but hoping that my consistency will come back once the busy-ness of the season comes to a close!
