I hear ya! Just started week 5 of SN. This workout from the beginning of week 4 was difficult and made me glad I completed JRD Max first. I am enjoying it and getting results.

Hi Aletta, welcome!

Shelly is right on. The key is individualizing the programs to your own needs. You may need to modify moves (I’m a knee push up and reverse pull ups or band pull ups girl), lengthen the rest periods or end the workout early if you’re toast.

I started with JRD Max and then moved on to Shredded Ninja, and am glad for that decision. Being new to jumping rope, I liked having the “like live” feel of JRD Max where you see Dan doing the moves and hear him constantly giving you encouragement. Shredded Ninja has looped videos and voice prompts. It feels less personal and, in my opinion, requires more self discipline.

You may want to work up to being able to do a 30-minute workout (with rests, of course) by seeing how long you last in the monthly workout of the day videos, or the ones on YouTube, as Shelly suggested. If you’re prone to shin splints, I highly recommend compression socks.

The best thing is to do what you can do. And, we’re here for you, like Joe said. 🙂

On the bright side, this is the best time to take a break since you just completed JRD Max. It may give you time to contemplate what to do next. Happy healing!

I found it easiest for me to do from a computer. Go to jumpropedudes.tv. Under the Programs & Resources tab is a page for consistency trackers. (You’ll have to login to gain access.)
