It took more like 3 months and 3 weeks, but I completed Shredded Ninja! I’m within spitting distance of my goal weight after jumping for about 7 months. JRDMax to Shredded Ninja and on to Plyo next.

Douglas Stewart I had my own workout buddies today, though not as intimidating as yours. They were entranced (and maybe a little frightened) by the noise of the rope. The Vermont critters are out. 😁🦌🐻

Finished JRD’s 15k jumps in 15 days for Crossrope’s AMP. And, I have jumped more than 10,000 jumps this month doing three Shredded Ninja workouts plus an additional 10 minutes of freestyle on my own. Loving the additional stats.

I treated myself to AMP handles as a reward for completing JRD Max. I wanted to know how many jumps I’ve been getting doing the JRD Max program, so I tested it out on a couple workouts.

I was surprised to see more than 3,000 jumps. Yesterday I did the Jump Rope Cardio from month 2 and today the Cardio Ladder from month 3.

It is pretty cool to see the stats. I was worried my hands might not do well with the slightly larger handle, but they did fine.

Thinking I may start Shredded Ninja next week and track my progress with the AMP handles to see if I make gains in speed, power, streaks and jumps over time.

Over the three months of JRD Max I lost inches and weight and gained stamina, muscle tone and a sustainable workout I enjoy doing.

In the first month I gained three pounds, but that is normal for me when beginning a program that incorporates strength (including body weight) training. At the same time my measurements were getting smaller. I expect I gain muscle faster than I burn fat. In the end, I lost the additional three pounds plus three pounds more for six overall.

In measurements I lost 1.25 inches in my chest and waist, 0.75 inches in hips and thighs. And, I gained 0.25 inches in my arms-must have been all those push-ups!

Looking forward to incorporating some of the JRD Max workouts into my new routine. Do the Thing!

Finished JRD Max! Feeling so proud of myself and physically great. The first workout program I’ve committed to all the way through. Now turning my sights on what to do next….

Final stats to come.

I did not think I was going to be able to complete the jump rope ladder in JRDMax month 3, day 4, but I found I was more than capable. It was fun and challenging, and I feel a sense of accomplishment. I appreciate Dan’s comments motivating me each time I tripped up - telling me to keep going. It’s like he saw me through the iPad and knew an encouraging word was needed right then. Keep with it, everyone!

I love the Jump Rope Cardio workout from JRDMax Month 2 Day 2! Switching activities every 15 seconds for the minute interval makes you feel like such a boss when you nail the transitions and make it through without tripping up. This is one I’ll go back to after finishing JRDMax.

Finally got my double unders today! Third time doing JRDMax M2D4. First time I was constantly landing on the rope, second I was having to bend my knees in my jump, overexerting myself and having hardly any rest time for the EMOM. I finally found a JRD video that casually mentioned if you were doing everything else but not getting it you may be pulling your hands up higher. This time I focused on keeping my hands low and voila! It worked! Did all the double unders, was able to add back in the jumping jacks (which I had taken out the previous two times) and have about 27 sec. rest time between sets. Now, I’m not dreading that workout and I feel accomplished.
