First bike ride of the year 💪

Awesome spring weather today to spend outdoors. Slowly improving my endurance again. It was a very productive workout. Gradually adding more intense workouts again. Hope I can start skipping soon again.

Have a nice Sunday all doing the thing ✅

Last year I participated in a television contest and was one of the finalists. Last Sunday was the broadcast of the show. Some of you were interested, so this is me with the painting. I didn't win, but it was a great experience.

Here you can find more info: https://degezonkenmeesters.nl/ My episode was 5.

I have been off the wagon for a while now. Struggling with fatigue and getting the flu two times. Last week I took a extra free week from work to take maximum of rest. Last Thursday I started with walking, stretching and low intensity workouts. Just to get in the habit of moving again. It is so frustrating not to be able to sport. I also realized that I was putting to much pressure in wanting to perform for myself. Maybe that was also the issue of my fatigue, doing to much. Recovery time is evenly important as you all know.

So to keep a long story short. More balance in my activities and enough rest time for recovery. Still hoping to do a proper pushup and my first pull up this year 💪

Recovering from a second influenzavirus this year. So frustrating not to feel healthy 🥴
Took a walk this morning, because we have sunny but fresh weather right now. Also tried a nasal dilator, to improve my nose breathing. When I excersice I breath a lot through my mouth.

Hope I can start the dumbell program soon 🤞

Wow, I have my first JRD selfie of 2025. I am just in week 1 of the new Total Body Torch program. Today was day 2. Tuesday I did day 1, but I had to go to work. So no time for selfies 🤣. In day 1 I did three rounds instead of the 5. Today I managed to do the whole workout. It sounds strange but I have to start from scratch again. After fatigue and a cold the last two weeks I wasn't able to do the JRD workouts for several months.
The hectic time at work is over so I can focus on my health again and improving my endurance and VO2Max again.

Also planning to do my first pushups and pullups this year. Bring it on 2025💪😜

Huge thanks to the Community for a wonderful year. Thanks for the support and the great workouts. It made it possible I could climb Ben Nevis in Schotland. The highlight of my 2024 Year. See you back in 2025 where I will go for my first pull-up 💪 Happy New Year 🎊

Looking forward to the new program. Got the email and it's gonna be a brutal one 😜
Not joining the challenge because of my fatigue. I am going to do it in my own pace, hoping to grow my endurance again.

Crispy rice salad, so yammie and low in calories

Cooked rice with a little bit of chilli oil at 180 degrees in the oven for 30 minutes. chicken (150 grams) grilled. Vegetables of choise ( I used cilantro, cucumber, red onion, spring onion, cherry tomatoes and rucola) I also used a teriyaki dressing (pokebowl style) on the salad.

Approx 420 calories

It looks I start completely over again, but I had so much mustlepain after workout one, I thought I do this one again. I don't think it matter than only doing the thing 😜

Did the M2W2D1 again of JRD Max. Because of the pull-ups I decided to do this one. Didn't got much of skipping last week.
Decided to keep the pull-up station like it is. I am a beginner so for now it is ok.

I also did my measurements again. Last one was in August, but I wasn't confident enough that something changed. I compared my notes with the end of 2023 and that's incredible 😱
I didn't lose much weight 2 Kg. But the centimeters are insane: I lost 20 cm total 😜
I am still on the right track. Hope I can keep up the good work for 2025. Winter will be a challenge again, but I succeeded last year so fingers 🤞
