Thanks to all the help and support I got from you I managed to keep up a regular schedule and balanced diet for the past month.
It really motivated me and gives me confidence for upcoming month. It's also very scary, because I'm at a point now that I couldn't pass before. So every kilo of weight I loss now makes me lighter than I haven't been in 10 years.
In 2010 was the last time I did a crash diet and was on my lightest. I can't remember what my weight was at that point, but that's not important. It's what I accomplishe now and stay on that road for the rest of my life.
To give you an idea where I started: In April I was 85 kilo's , now 78 kilo's. So I lost already 7 kilo's in 5 months 💪

I think I have the regular Jumprope workout in my system now. I even did two workouts in a row, without a resting day. I feel very confident to start next week with the program.
I had only trouble to get my heart rate up, inspite of my sweating 🥵 Maybe I got used to this dumbbell workout. This was the 6th time I did it 😂🤣.
Tomorrow is it measure day. One month in the weight loss journey 💪

I did the new YT video workout and managed to do it three times 😃
Oh yeah I'm on 🔥 now. Sweating my ass of 😂🤣
I've been doing regular jumps, because the other ones are still high science for me (read need more practice). If I manage to do this for the next two weeks I will be ready to start the JRD Max in September (Thats my first goal)
Q: there were a lot of boxerskips in this one. Is that an easier skip ore more intensive one compared to the basic jump?

I've been two weeks in the JRD community now and I've learned a lot of you already. I committed myself to a weightloss journey at a healthy way. These are my results for these two weeks:

Weightloss: 1,2 Kilo
Active: 6796 calories
Total calorieburn: 30.261 calories
Calorie intake: 24.750 calories
Calorie defecit: 5.511 calories (424 a day)
(Officialy I need two more days 😉, tomorrow is a rest day 😂)

I'm so happy with the result I couldn't wait.

I did my first 10 minute beginners jump rope workout without pain or uncomfortable feeling. I did a lot of stretching and warm-ups and they have paid off. I hope this is the start of my jump rope adventure!

Wish you all a good weekend.

P.s. I'm not going to share every week, but this I had to share.

I love baking my own sourdough bread. Working the dough feels as a complete workout for the upper body💪😜
Later today going for the lower body 🤔
Have a nice day!

I had a great workout today.
Just when the mailman also delivered the ropeless set I could finish my workout with 5 minutes of jumping with them. So happy with that. Feels so much more real than do it blind.
Next week the weather changes, so we can go outside again. That's even better.
Have a great weekend!

I have questions about the calorie deficit:

I used the Fitness Calculator to see how many calories I need to lose weight. It's about 1820 calories per day. I read that you can do a calorie deficit of 500 cal to lose weight in a healthy way.

  1. Is this 1820 cal minus 500 cal or

  2. Is this 1820 cal x 7 days (weekly average) minus 500 cal or

  3. Is that 1820 cal or 1820 cal x 7 days average?

And what about the extra calories you burn:

  1. Do you compensate for these calories by eating more calories that day or

  2. Do you compensate for these calories by eating more calories during the 7-day average? As an example: You train and burn 1000 calories extra in a week. Do you eat an extra 140 calories a day?

Last question:

How long can you stay in a calorie deficit and how long do you need to stay in maintenance calories before you go back into a calorie deficit? I read that you recalculate after losing 2,5 pounds (approx every kilo you loses).

My goal is to lose 10 to 12 kilos. In the past I did some crash diets. I want to do it slowly but with progress :-)

Hello all,

I just became a member of the JRD experience😀. I follow the JRD for several months now on YouTube and want to start with the overall health benefits from jumping rope. My first priority goal is to lose fatt (a lot 😏).

I see the different programs and get overwhelmed by them. Where shall I start🤔

I am 51, overweighted, stiff calbs, lack of flexibility. I also believe I am forsed by nature to  keep my feets on the ground 🤣😂

So thinking of starting with the shredded Ninja and then go to JRD Max. Read you're all fan of that program 😀

That gives me 6 months of training 💪🔥

Is there anybody who also did this combo and has tips for me.

(I also have the Crossrope LEAN set and jumping mat.)

TIA
