90 Day ProgramĀ  diary from a man out of shape.

Week 2 day 5

Where do I begin. I started the first cycle of the ladder with a half a pound. By the end, I was already dead. Decided to do the next two cycles with a quarter pound made. It had the brain idea to do the last cycle with half pound again Ended up skipping (pun intended)a lot of seconds.

This one was a killer, but survived to jump another day.

Today is my cheat day also. Going to have an original Margarita Napoleon pizza for lunch and tonight going to the movies and indulge myself to some popcorn. Please don’t judge I need it.šŸ˜‡

Tomorrow rest day. Maybe just do a small three minute workout to practice my sideswipes and my boxer skips. And then Monday we do it all again.

PS. Forgot to say. By the last cycle, the flat of my feet could barely jumpšŸ¤•. Ended up using my knees a lot. So now my knees are killing me.

Still doing the thing.

Ciao Joe. Your an inspiration. I may be across the world but there with you.

Hi Joe, I'm doing the JDD 90. Writing down a comment every time Ā I'm done helps me to stay committed.

Week 2 day 4

Went pretty well finished the whole day. For me it’s the push-ups that are the hardest first set. I did 10 push-ups regular and 10 on knees. After that was seven regular and then all knees.

Getting there.

Don’t have a pull-up bar so doing what I can.

Until Tomorrow,Ā

Still doing the thing.

Week 2 day 3

On a positive side. Four cycles of ladder, jumping. At the beginning it was hell kept tripping on my rope. Then I figured it out. I was keeping my wrists too tight. Once I started flipping them around a bit more thing went ā€œbetterā€.

Negative: At the end of the third cycle Dan said that even for him who’s been doing this for years it never gets easier.! Wanted to kill him right there and then. 😱Decided to finish the last cycle instead.

Until tomorrow

Still doing the thing.

Will check it out today. Thanks.

Week 2 day 2

Today was the only jump 30-10 day.

I feel that if I don’t write this down, I might give up just out of frustration.

Don’t know why it feels like the rope keeps hitting the side of my feet. Will try to take a video tomorrow and upload it. Any advice you might have would be well helpful.

Don’t know about losing weight, but water seems to be seeping out of every poor.

30 min and I’m drenched.

Still doing the thing.

90 Day ProgramĀ  diary from a man out of shape.

Week 2 day 1.

Starting the week with a full body workout?! Great way to demoralize someone. Couldn’t even do six regular push-ups. and could barely do the rest on knees. The second set mostly knees and couldn’t do 20. The last push-ups couldn’t go to 16 ( 1 reg Push-up).

Halfway through was so tired couldn’t even jump rope properly. Started doubting my form which made me trip even more.

Tomorrow is the 30-10 day. Always taking too much time trying to change ropes (Another thing to look forward to).

Let’s see how that goes tomorrow.

Still doing the thing.

Welcome to MY 90 day programšŸ˜‚Week 1 here we go.

Day, 1: finding out my max. Now there’s an embarrassing situation. Couldn’t even do one pull-up. So I changed the routine instead of pull-ups. I’m gonna do reverse push-ups using a paralette.

Day 2: started reevaluating my sanity. Didn’t know 10 seconds could last so long yet so short last 10 seconds of a workout never ended yet the 10 second break passed in the flash.

Day 3: the jump ladder was crazy wanted to quit so often but pulled through at the end of the day my left calf ached like crazy. Ended up taking a day off to recuperate.

Day 4: full body workout! Thought this was gonna give my legs a little bit of rest. He didn’t. The push-ups were killers. But at the end of it all it felt really good.

Day 5: I tried with the half pound rope for one cycle. I just had no more strength kept tripping on my rope. Switched to a quarter pound kept tripping again on the third cycle on the way back up. The ladder went back to half a pound just to finish with a bang. On the positive side, I’m starting to realize that my hand positioning is a bit too far off to the sides. Gives me something to think about for next weeks training
