I needed that recovery day today. Whew! Feeling so much better afterwards. One more workout and I’m done the third week of month 3 in the heavy rope program!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've posted anything. Last time I did, I mentioned how we in Western North Carolina have been completely devastated by Hurricane Helene. The recovery has been going ok. It's very slow but we are strong out here in WNC. It may take us years, but we will rebuild and it will be ok. The time I posted before that I mentioned that I had to take an extended break from working out because my time became very limited. Well, we made some changes to our families extracurricular activities and we joined our local family YMCA! I'll he able to start working out again, which makes me pretty happy!

Done with heavy rope program!!! Loved every minute! Will be starting the autumn challenge after a couple active rests days. Bring it on!

Always love Dan’s send off on M3D5 of the heavy rope workout. Today is my last day of week 3, which means only 5 more workouts until I’m done this program!

Made it to 1380/1500 1 lb skips, which means I’m up again from last week by 60 skips! Hoping to break into the 1400’s for the last week of workouts. Happy weekend! ⛅️

5,000 skips in just under 40 minutes, pausing every 1,000 skips to do some ab work. 3,000 with the 1/4, 1,000 with the 1/2, and 1,000 with the 1-pounder. Crushing sets of about 140 skips each round on the 1-pounder when I used to not be able to get 100 at a time. Feels good! Let’s gooooooo 💪💪

M3 W4 D5 done. Woohoo the last day of heavy jump rope program is done! I’m very glad to be a part of this amazing program. I’m proud of myself, even though sometimes the weather was challenging to do workouts somehow I managed to do all of them all 3 months. Definitely improved jumping speed and technique, endurance and VOmax too. If the weather will be good enough and my hands won’t freeze I will repeat some workouts of this program. #DOTHETHING
